Danis Stent

Danis is a unique system designed to improve the current management of acute bleeding oesophageal varices. Danis is a fully covered nitinol stent that tamponades bleeding oesophageal varices through direct compression and can be implanted in an emergency setting. The stent is removed using the dedicated Pexella extractor system. Patients can resume oral intake directly after placement of the stent.
