The AVAmax system offers advanced control in vertebral augmentation. The procedure tray comprises the controlled injection system with coaxial delivery cannula and AVAmax radiopaque bone cement with mixing kit. For convenience, a hammer and forceps are also included.

Injector gun & barrel

• High-pressure ergonomic design for optimal control and less fatigue in complex cases
• Precision-moulded threads for accurate and controlled cement injection
• Air-purging barrel design minimises the risk of embolism
• Graduated markers for clinician reference

PEEK tubing

• High-pressure, low-compliance luer lock tubing reduces radiation exposure to the clinician
• Distal right angle provides optimal positioning and minimises needle pressure

AVAmax coaxial cement tube

• The AVAmax system contains a unique Teflon-coated coaxial cement tube that lines the full internal length of the access cannula. The cement tube can be primed prior to insertion into the access cannula. Cement is then delivered from the very first turn of the injector gun, providing controlled and precise delivery.
• For bipedicular approaches or multi-level procedures, the AVAmax coaxial cement tube makes it fast and easy to switch injections from cannula to cannula without leaving cement behind.
